What is corrective care?

Most people can trace their first subluxation all the way back to birth. This is the first major event we go through, and often times can be hard on our body. Studies even show that over 80% of newborns have upper neck trauma and misalignments right after birth.

Therefore, babies, kids, and adults that have never taken care of their spines before most often will have work to do to get their spine to a place that is healthier and functioning better for them.

Why is this important then?

Because, 90% of the nourishment and stimulation your brain needs comes from proper alignment and movement of your spine (Dr. Roger Sperry, Nobel Prize recipient for brain research).

Your spinal health directly impacts the health and vitality of your brain and nervous system. This is the very system that controls your every function, your bodies performance, and your bodies ability to regenerate and heal.

Our office works to detect and correct subluxations (spinal misalignments causing interference to how the nervous system functions). For most, this is a process of Corrective Care over a course of time specific to the individual and their needs. This is in order to get each person to and/or back to a place of spinal vitality and easy maintenance of their spinal health through regular chiropractic wellness care. All with the goal of a healthier performing body from within!
